I frequent the Dunkin Donuts on Grant Street. We often have clients that want early-morning meetings at the club, and they always require fresh, delicious donuts and bagels. It’s always been a pleasure to walk into the Dunkin Donuts on Grant Street- the shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of donuts to choose from… until recently.

I’ve always liked brunch- it means that I’ve slept in, and am still going to get some good breakfast food, which is my favorite. A good friend of mine gave me a gift certificate to The Inn at Negley; a Bed and Breakfast place that I had never heard of. It’s in the heart of Shadyside, so we hopped in the car and were off to eat.

Mom’s got to eat.
So treat her on Mothers’ Day. Sure, you may be most famous for your culinary prowess with frozen pizza, but this is a once-a-year event and your chance to really impress with a quick and easy brunch of cinnamon rolls and spinach quiche.
These recipes are amended so that even a novice baker can achieve great results. Just be sure to go to the store and have everything on-hand before you start.
A while back, I reviewed Pamela’s, a trendy breakfast joint in Shadyside. Although Pamela’s has a great reputation, I was disappointed. As a follow-up, I’d like to introduce you to a diner that I do love. It’s called Eggs R Us, but please forgive it’s ridiculous name. The breakfast speaks for itself.
