Ultimate Bacon Dip Recipe
This is an extremely rich bacon dip. It’s a perfect snack for those fall football games!
Serves 6-8
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients:
1 pound cooked, chopped bacon + ½ cup for garnish
12 ounces cream cheese
¼ cup heavy cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons chopped chives
1 cup chopped water chestnuts
1 tablespoon tobasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh cracked black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Put the bacon mixture in a greased, oven-proof casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
During the last 10 minutes of cooking, place ½ cup chopped bacon on top.
Serve hot with crackers or warm bread.
