Prep time: 1 hour
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 jumbo eggs
14 ounces flaked coconut
2 ¾ cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Flaked Coconut
Directions:
Cream together the butter, sugars, and vanilla. Add the two large eggs and continue to mix.
Add the coconut- mix.
Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt-add to the wet mixture; mix until fully incorporated.
Add the chocolate chips into the batter and mix.
Drop by the tablespoonful onto a greased cookie sheet, and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges become brown.

good morning.. my waitress loves choclolate chip cookies but also loves coconut so I searched on line for a recipe and found this one… I just hope she loves the cookies when I bake them for her.
