Hibernation

A wise friend of mine believes that hibernation is a myth. Bears don’t really climb into caves & sleep through winter. They don’t stock up on food & snooze the cold days away. I think she’s on to something. I mean, bears like to be entertained (probably), so how could they go all winter without having some fun?

After the past two months, I think I know the answer. I, too, have been in hibernation, after a seemingly NEVER-ENDING winter season. I am bored. I am miserable. I am lazy. Cabin fever is an understatement…I’ve got cabin tuberculosis.

This week has seen some of the nicest days in months, so I decided that it’s time to break away from the debilitating monotony that has become my daily life. I washed my car. I’m getting my butt back to the gym (soon, I swear!). Most importantly, I’m FINALLY going to start writing again! It’s time to get out of the house and start enjoying life in the sun. I’m going to eat and drink and write until my brain shuts down from all of the awesomeness. Get ready for it.

As soon as I’m done scratchin’ my back on this tree, I’m going to post some awesome reviews!  Check back soon & often!

(Thanks to Chris Kornell for fixing up that AMAZING photo!  Click on it!  It’s hilarious.  It was always my life’s dream to become a bear!)
