Baked Brie Recipe
Baked Brie Recipe
This is an exceptionally easy recipe, and it’s always a hit at holiday parties!
Ingredients:
1 wheel of good quality brie
1 sheet of puff pastry (available in most grocery stores next to the frozen pie crusts)
1 cup apricot preserves
½ cup toasted, slivered almonds
2 tablespoons honey
1 beaten egg for egg-wash
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Place the brie on a clean working surface.
Unfold the puff pastry; make sure it is thawed before working with it.
Place 1 cup of apricot preserves on top of the brie wheel. Put ½ of the slivered almonds on top of the preserves.
Carefully fold the puff pastry over the cheese tucking the excess dough underneath the cheese.
Brush the surface with an egg wash, and put in a 350 degree oven until the top becomes golden brown, approximately 12-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes and place on a serving dish.
Put the remaining toasted almonds on top, and then drizzle with honey.
Serve with crackers
Happy Holidays!

Do you remove the rind of the brie first? Or just scoop the delicious cheese around it? This looks SO good.
leave the rind on! you HAVE to try this recipe!
This looks wonderful Chuck. I would love you to share it on my site. Surely I can copy and paste it, but I would love you to add it!
This is simple and elegant, which is something I am striving for in my cooking.
