Herb Grilled Chicken Breasts
This is an extremely easy, yet delicious recipe that I have been making for years. Fresh herbs, a hot charcoal or gas grill, and some fresh chicken is all you need to wow your taste buds.
This flavorful grilled chicken can be eaten as-is, served in a pasta dish, or on a fresh baguette as a sandwich.
Serves 6-8
Prep-time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
6 large organic skinless, boneless chicken breasts (chicken thighs may also be used)
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
zest of 2 lemons
3 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
3 tablespoons fresh chopped rosemary
1 tablespoon fresh chopped oregano
1 tablespoon fresh chopped sage
3 tablespoons fresh chopped basil
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
2 tablespoons fresh cracked black pepper
Directions:
Place the oil, all of the herbs, chicken, minced garlic, and salt and pepper in a covered container or Ziploc bag. Let marinate for two hours.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill (350-375 degrees) for 4-5 minutes a side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
