There’s an abundance of good, privately owned coffee shops in Pittsburgh, especially in the east end. These gathering spots provide quality Joe, pastries, and pleasant atmospheres for their patrons. Lately, my favorite go-to spot has been Biddle’s escape in Regent Square. I go there every Sunday to read my paper, drink hot Joe (with heavy cream) and chat with my friends.
