Zoup!

Zoup! in Southpointe Town Center is a popular eatery for those living and working in Canonsburg. The small restaurant serves a large variety of soups (there are always 12 soups daily) and has a lengthy list of sandwiches, salads, and other fresh fare to choose from- all served in a timely manner for those in a rush to get back to the office.

Last Saturday, my girlfriend and I sampled two large of bowls of Zoup’s signature pumpkin soup. The creamy liquid was deliciously sweet and spicy- it was like slurping a warm, pureed pumpkin pie! The sweet/savory soup had hints of cinnamon, fresh grated nutmeg, and a myriad of other fresh flavors. We lapped up the remaining deliciousness with some hearty whole-wheat rolls- YUM. I’m eager to the Chicken Potpie during my next visit. Seafood soups, as well as dairy-free, and vegetarian varieties are also offered.

If you want something other than soup, salads are also available- Cobb, Asian, American Farm, Chicken Caesar, Lemon Caper Tuna, Loco Burrito, or Sonoma Salad are a few of the choices. An extensive sandwich menu includes- the Southwest Turkey, Chicken Greek, Turkey Club, MTB (Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil), Pesto 3-Cheese, and Veggie Wrap with Guacamole.

Zoup! provides complete nutritional information regarding all of their menu items- gluten-free, and dairy free items are also available. On-line ordering is encouraged for even faster pick-up. Zoup! offers catering for home and office parties.

Although I’ve only eaten at Zoup! once, I’m already a fan. The large variety of perfectly prepared soups, salads and sandwiches will surely satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
