Kale Chips Recipe
Kale Chips Recipe
Kale is an amazing vegetable. Besides being a versatile food, it’s also loaded with fiber, vitamins A, C, calcium, and iron.
Kale can be eaten raw (although it’s more palatable cooked) and can be used in soups, stews, and sauces. Another interesting way to prepare kale is by baking it with a small amount of olive oil, salt and pepper.
After the kale has had time to cool, the end result is tasty chips that are delicious, and good for you!
Give this simple recipe a try.
Serves 4-6
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Prep time 30 minutes
Ingredients:
2 large bunches of kale
3-4 tablespoon of good quality olive oil
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoon fresh ground pepper
Directions:
Remove stems from kale.
Cut the remaining leaves with a chef’s knife until they are bite size.
Place the cut leaves in a large metal bowl with the olive oil, salt, pepper and toss until the leaves are fully coated.
Place the leaves on a well- oiled cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes, or until the leaves are crispy.
Remove from the cookie sheet and let cool.
Enjoy!
