Whole Wheat Chocolate Cherry Cookies
Who says cookies can’t be healthy? The whole wheat flour in this recipe makes for hearty, filling, delicious cookie!
- 2 Cups Unbleached Flour
- ½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
- ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- 1 Cup Butter
- 2 Cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 Cups Dried Cherries
Directions:
Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs, mix until blended. Mix together the dry ingredients, slowly add to the wet mixture. Add the Chocolate Chips and Dried Cherries, mix until blended. Drop by the Tablespoonful onto a greased cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly brown around the edges.
