I dunno Chuck, those look good, but I think my gluten free PB cookies could give these guys a run for their money…. =)

Um, Lady, sorry to say but I think that’s pretty standard behaviour on blogs (i.e. nice comment followed by a suggestion to look at a related link) and I don’t think there was any disrespect intended – S didn’t say they were better, just that her gluten-free version could be as good ๐Ÿ™‚

And yes, these cookies do look great!

  3. Ang says:

The fact that they plugged gluten free cookies is lame. They will never be as good as these. Extra Gluten… that’s right. Can’t wait for this ridiculous fad to be over. People are stupid… unless they ACTUALLY can’t have gluten.

    • Eli says:

Coeliac disease is incredibly common in the United States. Then only known treatment is a gluten-free diet.

Besides that, many of the gluten free items in our shop taste better and have a much better consistency than their gluten present alternatives.

These cookies do look delicious, though! especially if some chopped peanuts and peanut butter chips were added!

  4. Tash says:

It was rude. These cookies look DELICIOUS! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. mary says:

I don’t think S was being rude. I appreciate links to gluten-free recipes that are delicious. I am not gluten- intolerant, but have a friend and a niece that both have celiac disease. I like it when I’m looking for recipes for myself, but stumble on something I can try for them. Gluten-free recipes could never compete with gluten-filled ones (imho) so it wasn’t as if S was bashing thses for his.
