Asian Dipping Sauce
I’ve been making an Asian Dipping Sauce at the club lately that goes very well with seared Ahi tuna. It’s sweet, tangy, and delicious of most types of fish, and shrimp.
Prep time: 20 minutes Serves: 8-10 Ingredients: 1 cup rice wine vinegar 1 cup coconut milk 1 cup pineapple juice 3 tablespoons soy sauce 3 tablespoon sesame oil ½ cup teriyaki sauce ½ cup honey 1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic 1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes ½ teaspoon Kosher or sea salt 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper Directions: Place all of the above ingredients in a stainless steel saucepot over medium high heat. Cook, stirring frequently until all of the sugar dissolves, and it becomes thick, approximately 20 minutes. Strain the sauce, let cool, and enjoy!
